Heyho. :) Thorf here, addressing the Italian power and coach.

All powers are now signed on to:

NZMB:teachme3

NZMB's address is <judge_at_gem.win.co.nz>.

How this works is as follows:

Each player needs to do:

SIGNON xgamename blahblah
SET PASSWORD something.unique.to.this.game
SET ADDRESS player_at_address.goes.here,coach_at_address.next

Note: *NO* spaces after the comma in the SET ADDRESS.

After that, the coach will start receiving all press going to and from
the player. The player needs to email the coach the password they are
using (hence why I suggest the SET PASSWORD be something unique to this
game only).

Coaches - as soon as you get told what your power's password is, you
should be able to signon as that power using that password, just as if
you were signed on to the game.

Note that at that point, coaches and players doing a SIGNON as that
power and issuing commands will get two copies of the command results...
That's just something to live with. The other person (ie, the coach if
the player issues a command, and the player if the coach issues a
command) will receive one copy of the command results.

Now - Coaches - you should communicate with your player by sending press
to your own power - and you should *only* send press to your own power
(and/or to M, of course).

Do not do *anything* else (this includes making orders, sending
broadcasts or press to any other powers, etc), with the exception of
issuing a 'SET ABSENCE' command to request deadline delays if you are
going away. Send 'get absence' to the judge to find out more about
absences.

Players, you should communicate with your coaches by sending press to
your own power. You, of course, are free to issue orders, communicate
with other powers, etc, and should be doing so as soon as I turn full
partial press on. :)

Please stick to the "send press to own power" method of communicating
between players and coaches, because that way I get a copy of the press
for historical purposes.

So, in summary:

Player - set your password to something unique, and set address to you
and the coach, then email your coach with the password.

Coach - as soon as you get the password, sign on to the game, and send a
'PRESS TO M' telling me that you're there, to confirm that everything is
working.

As soon as I get acks via the judge that all the coaches are on line,
I'll change the press settings to full partial, set the deadline to
allow two weeks for the pre season happenings, and game, as they say,
is on.

Later,

   Thorf
